Zhuilu Old Road

Zhuilu Old Road is a mountain trail in the Taroko National Park in Taiwan. In many ways it is extremely exceptional and does not resemble anything I have seen on mountain trails around the world. The colorful history of this old trail, along with snakes and monkeys, speaks to you at every step.

Taiwan diary #4

Taiwan is undoubtedly one of my most popular places in the world. Incredibly friendly people, interesting culture, deeply rooted in traditions, and the traces of Japan that remained in the country after the occupation lasting until the end of World War II in 1945, create an incredibly captivating mix that simply cannot be resisted. That’s why I spent a month in Taiwan. There are many photos, so their collection is divided into 3 parts. Most were taken in and around Taipei.

Another visit to Belgium. These are a few snapshots from the summer of 2018. You can see Brussels, Namur in Wallonia and a unique De Vlier microbrewery in Leuven.

USA West Coast

The United States is a country to which I have a special relationship. In some ways I admire them uncritically, in some I just shake my head in perplexity. But the West Coast is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places on earth, and the images in this journal entry certainly capture the more visually friendly side of the world’s oldest democracy.

Cambodia and Vietnam

The headline is a bit misleading because the ratio of days spent in individual countries clearly favors Cambodia over Vietnam, but that does not mean Vietnam is less interesting – on the contrary. Both countries are one of the most interesting places I have ever visited in my life, and it was definitely not my last visit. On the photos you can see Phnom Penh, Kampot, Koh Rong Sanloem, Angkor Wat temples, and Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City.

TOKYO

Japan was love at first sight. The ubiquitous minimalism, inspirational philosophy of life and urban aesthetics that captivated not only photographers and lovers of JRPGs. I spent a week in Tokyo, documenting the photos below.
